Notes on sword/armor make: Steel is extremely rare on Myth, and the House of Tambreci are the only known Varials to possess the secret to make it. Most weapons are made of bronze or iron - iron being the more modern metal. Iron armor is somewhat more common (since larger items are easier to experiment on), and only those living in the Kingdom of Sarna still commonly make it. Possession of steel weapons or armor outside the House of Tambreci is not only practically unknown, but a criminal offense inside the Empire. Only those ordained by the Holy Order may carry steel weapons.
