Clogging my arteries, all for my faithful readers
Mood:  hungry
Topic: Totally Betty
The United had a sale on Ben & Jerry's, so of course I had to go apeshit and stock up the freezer. Their selection was kinda blah, but there were a couple flavors I figured I just had to let you guys know about, just in case you have not yet tried them.

First off - The Gobfather. Chocolate ice cream with fudge covered almonds and a nougat swirl. Nothing to get excited about folks. It wasn't bad, of course - I snarfed that sucker down. It just didn't pop. The nougat was all goo, and the chocolate totally overpowered it tastewise, so really it barely impacted the ice cream experience. I had expected something a bit chewier, although I realize being frozen sort of takes that possibility off the table. In any case, this was a totally mediocre flavor.

Which leads us to Marsha Marsha Marshmallow. That's the entirely too long way of saying 'tastes like s'mores' - chocolate ice cream with fudge chunks and a toasted marshmallow graham cracker swirl. Very tasty. I love marshmallow swirl, and the graham cracker gave it a nice texture. My only problem is that for some reason this flavor was hard as a friggin' rock. I don't want to wait for my ice cream to soften dammit, I want to eat it NOW!

And saving the best for last: Dublin Mudslide. Irish cream liqueur flavored ice cream with chocolate chocolate chip cookies and a coffee fudge swirl. Orgasmic. This stuff is so good it makes me want to marry it. There are two pints of it in the freezer, and I am having a hard time not prying open the door and cramming them down my gullet, and DAMN THE BRAINFREEZE! I think I wet myself.

So there you go - my recommendations on Ben & Jerry's flavors. I hope you found this post informative.
